Self-contained granny flat located in Alstonville. Only 10 mins from Ballina, 15 mins from Lennox Head, 20 mins from Lismore & 25 mins from Byron Bay. Alstonville is a great base to explore the area. The house has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room and zip-apart single beds in the other which can be converted into a king bed (please let us know your preferred bedding at time of booking). It also has its own driveway access offering secure off street parking. No Schoolies allowed Alstonville is a cute town full of historic buildings. It is located in northern NSW, part of the region known as the Northern Rivers and is on the Bruxner Highway halfway between Ballina (13 km to the east) and Lismore (19 km to the west). The village of Wollongbar is 4kms to the west of Alstonville. Alstonville is the service centre of the area known as the Alstonville Plateau and offers the best of both the coast and the hinterland. It's less than 20 kilometres from the beach, only 20 minutes from Byron Bay and Lennox Head. It makes a great base for exploring the charming villages and scenic drives of the Northern Rivers region. Alstonville's a fairly sleepy kind of place, overshadowed by the more popular holiday destinations of Ballina and Byron Bay, but among garden lovers it's famous for its annual autumn purple haze when the Tibouchina trees that line the town's streets burst into bloom with big purple and mauve flowers.
