On a beautiful quiet site with spectacular views, sunsets, and nature. Wheatfields has just two self-contained luxury Safari style tents spaced 60m apart. The tents offer flexible accommodation for families or friends. Contemporary designed interiors with individual luxury shower rooms. Fully equipped kitchen, Top quality bedding & towels provided. Cosy wood burning stove. Short drive to the historic town of Rye and great beaches. Only two hours from London and you can bring your dog too. This is one of two tents "Skylark" which is larger than its neighbor "Sandpiper" which is approximately 60meters away. Both tents have similar interiors but Skylark is larger with a extra double bedroom which can become twins. Both have the popular cabin room which is accessible up a short ladder. Skylark has a walk in shower, high WC and wide door. We are working on Skylark to become fully accessible to wheelchair users in the future with extra decking and a decked causeway to the parking bay. Guests have access to one of two tents and the surrounding fields. The tents are approximately 60m apart. Each tent has its own car parking area. Guests are welcome to wander about the fields and along the farm track but must be aware that it is a working farm where large machinery is in use. Guests can let themselves into their tent. A welcome pack with full instructions and advise is left in each tent. The owners are always available by phone for any questions or if help is needed. Romney Marsh with its huge skies, natural beauty, diversity of habitats, rich history and its extensive coastline and beaches is a great place to visit. Rye offers boutique shopping and restaurants to suit every pocket. Friendly local village pubs. Wonderful walks, fishing, birdwatching, watersports all near by. Wheatfields is in a beautiful quiet area so a car is recommended. Rye & Appledore train stations are 5 mins away and the hosts are happy to give lifts to any late comers.
