Elegant, outdoor covered lounge area overlooking views of large spacious garden, an old tobacco barn and private field, excellent for reading and taking in the peaceful sounds of the countryside. For those who enjoy walking there are 2 'randonee routes' close by and many beautiful 'chemins' to create your own trecking adventures. Also, a cyclists dream location; take in the beautiful landscape of rural France... quiet, gently undulating country lanes and quaint villages. Perfect retreat to clear the mind, increase fitness levels and get active! An outdoor covered lounge with gorgeous views of the garden. Perfect for enjoying your morning coffee & croissants, before heading off to explore this beautiful part of France. The dining area is available to guests particularly if the weather is inclement! Why not take a short stroll around the large garden and take in the country air. I am available throughout your stay and on hand to help with local information. Home cooked meals are also available on request. Happy to plan 10km/12km walks on request. Heading South? Ideal for long or short stays. A gated detached farm house at the end of a pretty country lane with parking on site. A short drive away there are several good restaurants, supermarkets, cinema, swimming pool indoor/outdoor, beautiful parks and gardens, local farms selling home made produce and many Chateaus to visit. The Valley de Singe (monkey valley) is only 15 minutes away and the historic city of Poitiers and surrounding ancient villages are within an hours drive and definitely worth seeing. Perfectly located....Poitiers airport is only 45 minutes drive and Limoges airport is approx 1h 15 mins away. Tours, Angouleme and Bordeaux are all within a two hour drive from here and the beautiful Dordogne region can be reached in only 3 hours! La Rochelle on the coast and other fabulous coastal towns are also within 2 to 3 hours journey time. Continental breakfast served between 8:30/10am. Croissants, pain au chocolat with ham & local cheese. Home made jam and fresh bread, bean to cup coffee and various fusion teas.
