Enjoy a peaceful private apartment (bedroom, ensuite & kitchenette) & second bedroom available for more than 2 people that sleeps 3. Situated on our family farm on the main tourist route between Waitomo/Hobbiton/Rotorua/Karapiro/Cambridge. We live with our 3 children & work in tourism in Waitomo. You are welcome to use our swimming pool, spa (hot tub) & tennis court. Perfect accommodation for singles, couples or families! Quiet and peaceful farmstay. The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, toaster and electric jug - no stove or oven. We are only 10 minutes drive from several restaurants and takeaway options. You are welcome to use the swimming pool, spa and tennis court and enjoy a farm walk if you wish. You are also welcome to do a load of washing if you need to. Please note we do not have a dryer but offer a clothes rack in your room or on a sunny day use our clothesline! We can help you with cave tours in Waitomo. We highly recommend the Ruakuri Cave for families and the Black Labyrinth (over 12yrs) and Black Abyss (over 16yrs). My husband, Logan, works for the Legendary Black Water Rafting Company in Waitomo and have 25+ years experience with them. We are on the fastest route between Waitomo Caves, Hobbiton and Rotorua. We are situated 2 hours from Auckland, 30 minutes from Waitomo Caves, 20 minutes from Mystery Creek Fieldays, 45 minutes from Hobbiton (Matamata), 1 hour from Raglan, 1.5 hour from Mount Maunganui, 1.5 hour from Taupo, 1.5 hour from Rotorua and 2.5 hours from Tongariro National Park. A great location!
