Welcome to Sous Les Cloches. In the heart of Varen you'll find our beautiful little house. The house is only a 2 minutes walk to the river front where you can picnic, swim, sunbath and has great paddling for the children, also you'll find a great local restaurant The Moulin. The village has everything thing that you need on your door step, a local shop, a bar (with free WiFi), pizza take away, hair dresser, chemist, a post office, medical centre and a new electric charging point. This is an ideal location to see the surrounding area whether by car, cycle or on foot. Ten minutes by car you'll find the famous Saint Antonin Noble Val, full of restaurants bars, shops and the best market around. wifi installed 2021 Inside the house you'll find a kitchen/dining room, A living room with sofa bed, British and international tv, dvd player. A downstairs shower room with toilet and a sink. Upstairs you'll find a separate toilet, Two bedrooms one has a double bed, the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, a sink and a small bath ideal for bathing children. Their is a travel cot under the bed. Outside their is a small cellar which houses the washing machine. This area is stunning, as its set in the gorges of the Aveyron river . 15 to 20 mins away you'll find hill top villages all with their own chateaux, shops, restaurants and beautiful views, Najac, Cordes, Penne and Bruniquel. Along the river you'll find Varen, Laguepie and the famous Saint Antoinin Noble Val. Varen is a small beautiful historic village which is worth spending time in. Spend your time walking, cycling, kayaking, swimming, fishing, horse riding, wine tasting, shopping at the many splendid markets, enjoying all the summer fetes where their is music, food, dancing and car boot sales. Or you can just relax... Lexos train station is only a 15min walk away. With links to Toulouse and Villefranche de Rouergue. This is for the laundry service needed. Please let me know if you would like to hire or if you are bringing your own. We supply duvets and pillows for the beds . The duvet for the double bed is size is 200 x 200 Thank you. Please ask if you are interested in a monthly booking price as we have a problem with the app on this. There is normally a 25% off. Please be aware that this house is next to the church and the bells ring. We supply ear plugs if this is a problem.
