‘Glyder’ glamping yurt. Perfect base for Snowdonia

Our luxurious yurt has one double bed, a day bed and pull out bed (for children only), tea and coffee, kettle, electric fire, sockets for charging. Campfires & BBQs allowed. Newly renovated modern shared facilities. The perfect base for Snowdonia! The Llanberis Path and Snowdon Ranger can be accessed direct from the yurt! (leave your car here so you don't have to spend half your day finding a parking spot!) Please note- 2 Adults & 2 Kids or 3 Adults max PLEASE DON'T ENQUIRE FOR 4 ADULTS. Every yurt will be fogged with 'Viro-Kill Super Concentrate' between guests. We will contact you a few days before arrival offering you a contact free check in and check out service, this email will also include important details re: health and safety whilst on site, please look out for this email. NO hand towels will be provided in the toilets as usual to stop cross contamination. The fluffy towels will be replaced with paper towels. We ask everyone to be courteous to other guests and remain a strict 2m away from everyone who isn't in your party. Please make sure any children in your party also adhere to this. Check in & out times will change due to extra cleaning measures. check out will now be strictly before 10am and check in will be between 3-8pm ----------------------------------------------------- If you are looking to conquer Snowdon - this is the perfect base. We are the closest campsite to the Llanberis Path; a simple half an hour walk will find you a quarter of the way up Snowdon on the Llanberis Path. The ranger path is also accessible from camp. The Miners and Pyg are also easily accessible via the Sherpa bus from Llanberis village (10 minute walk). If Mountains aren't your thing - don't worry, there are ample tourist attractions in the local area such as Zip World, Caernarfon Castle, Bounce Below! As comfortable and lovely the yurts are - Glamping is STILL technically Camping! Please be aware, the yurts will not be as warm as indoor accommodation during exceptionally cold nights in the wintery months. The yurts are perfect for anyone wanting a countryside escape with (a lot!!) more comfort than our campsite has to offer... Or simply those who are after more of a unique feel than 'standard' accommodation can offer! Even though the yurts are based on our campsite, the yurts are in a private position and feel completely separate. Due to this we do not allow camping in the yurt area, nor allow anyone who isn’t on your booking in the yurt, general yurt area or use the glamping facilities. This is a one rule for all. Our lovely modern shared toilet block has been fully renovated. This is a private toilet block for yurt guests only! (will be shared with our other 3 yurts but NOT with the general campsite) Showers are FREE. (for hygiene reasons please bring your own towels and toiletries, toilet roll is provided.) NO TOWELS ARE PROVIDED NO COOKING FACILITIES (you are welcome to bring a BBQ) NO FRIDGE/FREEZER/TUMBLE DRYER (you are welcome to bring a coolbox) NO PLATES / CUTLERY ARE PROVIDED Do not use post code in satnav or airb&b directions. The yurts are based near a farm so some farm noises are expected especially during some busy periods, lambing and shearing season etc. We tend to leave our guests to their own devices during their stay - we will always be around should you need anything though! There are plenty of walks and tourist attractions nearby. The village of Llanberis (1/2 mile or a 10/15 minute walk away) offers - pubs, restaurants, take away's and convenience stores. About 15 minute walk from the nearest bus station which offers travel to Bangor which is the main train station for the local area. The yurt is based on our campsite. The yurt is based near a farm so some farm noises are expected especially during some busy periods, lambing and shearing season etc. Shared washing up area. Shared toilet/shower block with other yurt guests (the shared facilities are checked and cleaned regularly - we cannot control how other people leave the facilities, so if anything isn't how you'd like it just let us know!) BBQ's and campfires are allowed within reasonable distance of the yurt. NOT on the decking. We do not supply toiletries and towels, you will need to bring these. Toilet roll provided. Free parking on site Bedding is provided. (Duvet, pillows and covers) No breakfast available on site. There are plenty of cafe's in the village - why not visit the famous Pete's Eats for their great breakfasts!?
