The space: In spring and autumn, it is a haven for those who prefer a relaxing sojourn with a scattering of like-minded visitors either scattered along the beach or sampling the fresh fish at one of Barbati’s waterside tavernas. In the height of summer, late July and August, Barbati’s personality changes and a different clientele arrive. Families with teenage children, young couples and those who enjoy a more hedonistic lifestyle replace the Grecophiles who travel earlier in the season. The beach is a mere five-minute stroll down a meandering lane that finishes at Barbati Beach. In the afternoon on hot August days music can be heard wafting up from the beach, but by late afternoon most sun worshippers have departed and you'll have time to enjoy a quiet cocktail in one of the tavernas before they close for dinner. (ii) A Baby travel cot and a high chair are available for rent locally - upon request. (iii) Guests should conduct themselves in a manner that doesn't unreasonably disturb other tenants or neighbors. (iv) Guests are expected to respect the property. Location: Barbati represents one of the best holiday destinations in Corfu. As it flanks the main road, it also makes it an ideal location to commence exploring the whole of central and northern Corfu by bus, car, or motor bike.
