The Yew Tree Holiday Cottage

Built in 1552 with far reaching views across valleys to Stroud, surrounded by National Trust common land, the property offers excellent modern accommodation with open plan lounge, dining room & full working kitchen. Large zip link bed and ensuite. The accommodation is suitable for two people, sharing a double-bedded room. (Zip and link double bed). However, there is a double sofa bed available if required. The Yew Tree Holiday Cottage is Four Stars Quality in Tourism Self-catering accommodation. This delightful non-smoking accommodation comprises: Kitchen / dining room / lounge with LCD television/DVD player; Large conservatory, patio and garden; Toilet and shower room; Super kingsize bed which can also be split into twin beds if needed (with TV and radio); The kitchen is brand new and fully integrated with a gas hob, electric oven and microwave. There is also a new shower room. The cottage has laundry facilities and also a large fridge/freezer. The Cottage has the full benefit of gas cooking and central heating. Facilities include a washing machine, full sized fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, 2 TV/DVD players, microwave etc. Linen is included in the price but there is a charge for electricity and extra cleaning. This is a self-contained holiday cottage. There are steps leading to the cottage entrance. Off road Parking is available. I am on hand everyday should you need anything Being surrounded by common land with grazing cattle, deer, foxes and badgers, we live in a unique area. Buzzards fly overhead and swifts nest under the eaves. The Jurassic escarpment abounds in wild orchids and cowslips - a walker's paradise! A two hourly bus stops right outside the house which serves Stroud, Minchinhampton, Tetbury and Bath. Stroud train station 2 miles away. The cottage is ideally situated for travelling to Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Gloucester, Wales etc. There are loads of lovely walks, especially along the Cotswold Canals which are undergoing restoration
