Cozy room in a tropical house

Situated in Fannie Bay near the Racecourse and Parap Village, Markets and Parap Pool. It’s an two minute walk to a Chinese, Indian, Japanese or Mexican restaurants, pizzeria, bakery or pub and to the Railway Club. Around 8 minutes by car to the city centre it’s close to the Stuart highway for the start of your trip to Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield National Parks or just going South. Easy walk to the Sailing or Trailer Boat Clubs and the junction to East Point reserve. Elevated house with three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom & toilets upstairs. The kitchen is spacious and practical. All cooking ustensiles are there to be used for your own need. Big fridge/freezer with your own space + a bar fridge in your room. Downstairs there is a big dining place as well as a bbq, hammock, toilet and bathroom surrounded by a big garden. Car park for 4 cars inside the property. There are 2 bathrooms available to guests plus use of the kitchen and living room. There is also a down stairs outdoor dining room with BBQ. As a former tour guide of the Top End I love helping guests with information about tours or places to visit. It’s a beautiful tropical region to visit before leaving Australia. The suburb of Fannie Bay is an “old suburb” with blocks around 1000m2 with a single house surrounded by a garden. My street is quiet with a total of 9 houses. The house is situated between the airport and the city. Around 10-15minutes to the airport and less than 10minutes to the city by car or taxi. There are buses that can take you to the Casuarina Shopping Centre as well as the city or the Museum and other suburbs. You can also hire a EBike to visit around the city to my place As many of the flights to Darwin arrive late at night, I make sure that access is available at any time. In fact as I live in the property I am usually available myself to welcome my guests. I live onsite however not in the house itself. There is one long term resident in one room and at present one of my friends in the second room. The third room is the Airbnb room which is situated at the end of the house.
