Located on the fringes of the Lake District. Tarn Croft is a modern 3 double bedroom, 3 storey property, near Marton village. With modern and luxurious specification throughout, including a fabulous Basement Family room with a large fully equipped kitchen, leading to a gorgeous back garden, with Hot Tub, mood lighting, and water feature. It’s 3 large double bedrooms, (Master with king size bed +En Suite, ) 1 double, and 1 twin. Stunning bathroom, lounge, and piano room, grace this fine property. The house is surrounded by beautiful tarns and reservoirs nearby, perfect for people who enjoy walking, cycling and fishing! (Permits available on request) The House is very well equipped throughout, with 3 large bedrooms, (Master with en suite bathroom.) The 2nd double bedroom is also on the 3rd floor, both offering stunning countryside and Morecambe bay views from the rear elevation. The 3rd bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with 2 single beds. All bedrooms have TV’s. A stunning family bathroom is beautifully appointed, with a freestanding bath, powerful rainfall shower, WC, and large vanity unit in grey. There is also a comfortable lounge and piano/study room on this floor. The very large basement family room boasts a wonderful fully equipped kitchen, dining, and sitting area with TV. The kitchen area has a large fridge freezer, double oven, large induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, wine cooler, and a full complement of crockery, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen appliances. Patio doors lead out to the fully enclosed veranda and rear garden, where you’ll find plenty of seating, and a dining area. The hot tub is elevated on decking, with a large tree offering privacy over it! There is also a gas bbq located on the veranda. (Please lift bbq unit onto the grassed area before use, as smoke stains the whitewashed walls and ceiling) To the front of the house there is also a lovely decking seating area. A real sun trap in the evening sun! Guests have full use of the property, including rear garden, with use of the Hot Tub, and gas BBQ. Available to contact anytime for accommodating guests requirements. There is a children’s play park in the village 5 mins walk away, and a Pub approx a mile away, in the village of Lindal. Should you wish to use public transport, The nearest bus service is approximately a mile away at Lindal village. Plenty of local taxi firms available…( (Hidden by Airbnb) Dalton-In-Furness, or Ulverston taxi firms) The railway stations of Askam-In-Furness, (West coast line) Dalton-In-Furness, or Ulverston, (South bound) are fairly equidistant (approx 3miles away)from Tarn Croft. There is also the lovely Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam railway attraction, just a short drive away! There are a plethora of quiet countryside public footpaths, and picturesque lanes from the doorstep, that can be explored by car, cycle, or foot. 1 dog is welcome to stay, at a fee of £15 per stay. There is free parking to the front of the house. However, could I kindly ask that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can the gated lane to the left of my property be used for parking vehicles. This is a private access lane to a neighbouring property, and must be kept clear of any vehicles, or obstructions at all times. Also, for the consideration of access to my neighbours lane entrance, could all guests please park no further up the hill than opposite the front lounge window of Tarn Croft? If there are multiple cars arriving in your party, there are plenty of parking spaces further down the hill. Please do not park opposite the neighbouring properties, or on the grass verge to the right. Essentials such as bedding, toilet roll, and a fully equipped kitchen are provided, however, for hygiene reasons, and to minimise the risk of Covid contamination, guests are required to bring there own towels with them please. TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. There is a washing machine with washing pods, and a tumble dryer, washing line, and clothes airer provided, should you wish to launder your towels and clothing during your stay. Many thanks.
