Charming 18th Century Thatched Cottage

We love our cosy cottage which offers a real peaceful getaway for guests. It’s quirky 18th century features are combined with a wonderful modern kitchen and downstairs bathroom with shower over bath tub. The cottage garden is a delightful sun trap with sun loungers and an outside table and chairs for alfresco dining.Our cosy cottage is ideal for couples but can accommodate 2 extra people if required.( *one bedroom downstairs) Please be aware there are uneven floor surfaces in the cottage . Quirky cosy cottage, a real peaceful getaway but ideally situated for visiting Shaftesbury and the surrounding area. Our cottage is very well equipped for a peaceful break of reading, exploring, baking or just simply relaxing. Cosy lounge area with rustic fireplace including an electric wood burning stove ,spacious well equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms , 2 upstairs ( one walk through) and one (Website hidden by Airbnb) are games and books for the family plus TV with Firestick. You will possibly meet our daughter who looks after the cottage for us. She lives locally if you have any concerns or questions. It is possible to have self check in. Beautiful, historic Saxon town boasting breathtaking views of the area. There’s plenty to explore in around the town There is no designated parking space but we have on street parking and a free municipal car park a few minutes walk away. Regular bus service to nearby station and local towns. Please be aware that one bedroom is on the ground floor whilst the two other rooms are upstairs. There is a TV available.
