The apartment is on the first floor and it is made up of two good sized double bedrooms with hanging space and chest of drawers. There is a living space and open plan kitchen with all modern appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. There is an electric hob, oven and microwave. There is a fridge/freezer and coffee maker. The bathroom has a large walk in shower. It is double glazed throughout and has electric storage heaters and electrically heated hot water. The whole apartment is available for your exclusive use. It is accessed from a common stair case and on the first floor. There is no lift unfortunately but there are banisters on both sides of the wide stairs and about 16 shallow steps in all. The keys are available in a security box. Xixi and Simon live close by if you were to have any problems. We will be pleased to answer any questions you might have. A booklet is available in the apartment giving details of all the local amenities. Daily cleaning and linen changes twice a week are available at a small extra charge - please ask for more details. Llanelli is a growing town in rural West Wales. It has its history in coal mining and heavy industry but all this has been replaced by light industry and services. The local people are noted for their warmth and generosity. You will often hear Welsh spoken in the local shops, restaurants and pubs. The seafront has been extensively redeveloped for leisure and outdoor activities. The apartment is facing the beach and you will see many people out cycling or walking with their families and dogs almost whatever the weather. The Black Mountains are close by and the countryside is always green. The scenery is spectacular and the weather often changes hour to hour. You can expect to experience all the seasons in a single day! Llanelli station (on the GWR route from Paddington to Fishguard) is less than a mile away. The M4 motorway from West London and Heathrow extends just past Llanelli and it takes about 3 hours by car from Heathrow to Llanelli. Cardiff airport is 40 miles and Bristol airport about 70 miles to the east. Free parking is directly outside the apartment but you need to display the permit which the host will provide you on arrival. There is dedicated parking available for one car at no cost directly outside the apartment. An extra visitors parking slot is available on request. There is one excellent restaurant within a very short walk and the town centre is within 20 minutes walk or a short ride. There is an extensive retail park with all the usual fast food and coffee houses 5 minutes drive away. The apartment is easily reached being 20 minutes drive from junction 48 of the M4. There is a cafe and ice cream shop within 200m of the apartment on the sea front. Parc y Scarlets rugby stadium is 10 minutes drive away.
