Welcome to our historic villa close to the heart of everything Marlborough has to offer including famous wines, arts and crafts, gourmet food, boutique breweries, and the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. Enjoy unlimited high-speed WIFI, delicious continental breakfast, oodles of parking, mini kitchen, laundry, a peaceful garden with seasonal organic fruits and vegetables, private entrance, minutes to CBD and airport. Take time to refresh and relax. You will be the ONLY guests with your own private entrance, ensuite, kitchenette and outside garden area. The second ensuite guest bedroom is available to your travel group on request. Your guest entrance is steps away from ample parking for a boat, trailer or caravan, which leads you into a beautiful ensuite bedroom with TV, heat pump/air conditioning, unlimited high-speed WIFI, built in wardrobe, guest kitchen/laundry. With great continental self serve breakfast supplies, a fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric frypan, rice/slow cooker, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board you can be as self sufficient as you like. Outside enjoy a patio, BBQ, mature garden of trees, bordered by a small creek, all in a semi-rural setting with organic figs, walnuts and citrus fruits to enjoy when in season. Besides your own private secure bedroom area , the guest kitchen is handy for snacks, drinks and meals, with fridge/freezer storage. There are books and games which you are welcome to use. Please make yourself at home. We are happy to share local knowledge or assist with your travel plans, and have plenty of brochures for you to browse. We live in the semi-rural suburb of Springlands, very close to shops -- the nearest supermarket, pharmacy, post office and restaurant is within a 10 minute walk. It’s only a 25 minute stroll into town along the beautiful Taylor River or a short car ride to the CBD, the railway station and to the airport. The region's many other attractions are also very accessible ... that's why we love living here! It's best to have your own transport to make the most of the stunning surrounds, although many tour companies will be happy to pick you up and drop you back at the house. Be reassured that we clean and disinfect each area meticulously before and after each hosting.
