Parkvale Cabins are individual,privately located, self contained holiday cabins situated in an expansive bush setting. They are ideal for family getaways and equally great for a quiet getaway. Most guests use our cabins as a base to explore the many attractions that East Gippsland and the Gippsland Lakes region have to offer, and some choose to just sit and enjoy the tranquility of the bush with a cup of tea or nice wine and a book. We are pet friendly and welcome guests from all backgrounds. Our house is also on the property, but YOUR PRIVACY IS ASSURED. The cabins are nestled in the bush off to the side of our long driveway and separated from each other. We are never too far away if you require anything but will not unnecessarily bother you otherwise. Firewood for the combustion heaters is provided in the cooler months only. e.g. primarily when the night time temperatures are in single figures. The cabins all have reverse cycle air conditioning/heaters that are more than capable of heating or cooling an entire cabin. Electric blankets are supplied for the queen size bed in winter months. For the outside fire pits, firewood can be scavenged in all directions in the surrounding bush. We sometimes have branches etc next to fire pits for burning. Please note that as the cabin is located in the bush, mobile phone reception can be quite patchy. We can't ensure good mobile phone reception at all times. However, a short walk usually gets you a signal with Telstra. Some other carriers may require a 2 minute drive to get service. Please be aware that due to our location in the hills, that mobile phone signal can be a little patchy at times.Telstra works best, but good phone signal cannot be assured.
