A perfect base for a couple on their own, with friends or with the family. This bijou residence is 1 bed, living room (with sofabed), kitchen and shower room. 3 minute walk from the Balloch main line train station (40 mins from Glasgow Centre), 45 mins drive from Aberfoyle and a 5 min walk into Balloch Park (Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park). This flat has everything you will need to explore the surrounding area. Our property is ideal for exploring the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh - with main direct lines to both. We have provided some basics in the kitchen for you to get started - tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods. Along with fresh bedding and towels we also provide shampoo, toothpaste and shower gel. Our apartment is on one floor with 6 steps into the property. There is a double bed in the bedroom with sufficient linen. Fitted wardrobes which hold the extra bedding for the sofa bed. Corner sofa with sofa bed is situated in the living room (sofa bed is a double however it is tight). In the fitted kitchen there is an electric hob and oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer. The bathroom is fitted with a large walk in electric shower, wc and wash hand basin. The Owners My sister Louise and I are both Scottish and love the outdoors. I live with my family nearby, therefore service the property. Louise and her family live in Glasgow. We are both passionate supporters of Scotland so have compiled an detailed Welcome Book recommending plenty of activities in the area, but if you have any questions to enhance your stay with us, I would be very happy to assist. Host will deliver and collect keys at a Pre-determined time Within a short walk of the flat there are lovely eateries - Cucina restaurant, Corries restaurant - for an amazing cheap breakfast and also some great pubs. Balloch really is an idea spot to explore the National Park, Stirling (short train journey/drive) or even 1.5hrs from Edinburgh.
