Embank Glamping Forest Retreat

Embank Glamping is happy to be welcoming guests in 2022 The Embank forest has been loved and tended to make a perfect relaxing space for you and your family. We are following specific Covid cleaning guidelines. There will be full cleaning and surface sanitisation between guests. Embank Glamping is a enchanted forest hide-away on an old rail way embankment that has gone back to nature after years of dis-use. The trees have taken over creating a magical atmosphere where positive energy flows. Re-discover yourself sleeping in our peaceful woodland cabin overlooking green fields. Go for relaxing walks with your family in our natural forest and countryside. The Cabin at Embank Glamping is completely separate to other spaces with private/unshared kitchen and bathroom. We have a wonderful insulated cabin that sleeps 4, with log burner, waiting for your arrival. Its outdoor/indoor camp kitchen, separate to the cabin, has clean running water and gas hobs, this is Glamping at its finest, and offers a perfect couples or family retreat. The private bathroom offers a hot shower and fresh water-flushing toilet. The bathroom is separate to the cabin and unheated. There is a fire pit for those marshmallow moments and seating with a view over the fields. There is no electricity or wifi up the Embank but plenty of LED lighting and fairy lights. Please bring a torch and battery power banks for your phones if you need them. Bedding will be provided with a hand towel and tea towel. Kitchen utensils, pots, pans, plates are provided along with firelighters, paper and matches. Please bring your own shower towels for all stays. Loo roll is provided. Wood is available for you to collect along the embankment for the firepit. 1 log box full of logs will be provided, cut to a suitable size for the log burner. The site is dog friendly but not dog secure so we ask you to keep an eye on your dogs and also clean up after them. Guest have access to the whole site and to adjoining woodland walks. I will meet and greet with a brief tour. For multiple night stays - a cool box with freezer blocks will be provided on arrival and new freezer blocks each day on request by text message to keep your essential food items cool. For single night stays please request freezer blocks if you would like them and they will be provided for your arrival.
