Blu Jonio

The house is in an excellent position, few minutes to the Sea and to the city center. It is located at the ground floor and it is perfect to host families, groups of friends and couples. There is a useful kitchen, a large dining room, a relax-room, three bedrooms for six total beds (one with a double bed and two with two single bed that can be merged) and two bathrooms. You can then enjoy the cool evening on the roof terrace. You can use the whole ground floor apartment and the terrace on the roof at the first floor. Just one bedroom has air conditioning system, others room are equipped with ceiling ventilators. BREAKFAST: -BAR AQUILA: nearby home, any kind of coffee, sweets (brioche, treccia, etc), granita (sugestion: granita caffè con panna, or mandorla, or both!), latte di mandorla (URL HIDDEN) RESTAURANTS: -ANGOLETTO: tables into the garden next to the house, good pizza (and also fish) -LA CASCINA: located on the road along sea (statale 106 ionica) before arriving to Roccella, very beautiful restaurant with tables in garden between olives with fish and typical local kitchen (URL HIDDEN) OUTDOOR TRIPS: -GERACE: beautiful medieval village (URL HIDDEN) (great granite, the best of the area) -STILO: visit Cattolica di Stilo (URL HIDDEN) -REGGIO CALABRIA: main city of the area, beautiful seaside walk (Italy longest), Museo Archeologico Nazionale Reggio Calabria where there are the Bronzi Riace (URL HIDDEN) -SCILLA: on Tirreno sea the village nearest to Sicily, characteristic fisher village, beautiful beach, castle along sea (URL HIDDEN) -CANOLO NUOVO: little village on the hills nearby with nice pinewood with equipped grill area (URL HIDDEN) -GAMBARIE D’ASPROMONTE: locality among mountains (Aspromonte) (URL HIDDEN) -ROCCELLA IONICA: seaside location with nice castle and touristic port (north of the city) (URL HIDDEN) -TROPEA (CAPO VATICANO): longer trip to a famous touristic place on Tirreno side (in front of Eolie Islands) (URL HIDDEN)
