"Inn the Doghouse" is a renovated 100 year old historic home located just steps from Dogfish Head Brewery & Tasting Room, Milton restaurants and bars, and only 6 miles from the Delaware Beaches. The Victorian home is perfect for folks looking to travel to Delmarva for romantic getaways, beach visits, microbrewery tours, or an escape from the city. We love to accommodate couples, small groups and business travelers - there's always something going on in Milton and the surrounding areas. Nestled in the friendly and cozy town of Milton, you’ll find this blissful, bohemian Beach House room that may have appeared in a dream you’ve had. We foresee endless lazy afternoons spent on the porch people watching or perhaps rock yourself into complete relaxation on the swing chair in your room. This fantasy can come to life in this serene Airbnb, soaked in soothing turquoise colored walls, white sheets, LOVE marquee, and fun beach accents. The Beach House room is rustic, chic, fun, and inviting! "Inn The Doghouse" - Beach House room is the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend for two, a fun basecamp for friends to explore the many local breweries and a restful pitstop for business trips. New this year, we have added a Tiki Bar to add to your beach experience. And of course, at "Inn the Doghouse", we are dog friendly and are happy to accommodate one dog per room up to 30lbs. Please read PET RULES under Additional Rules. You will have access to the kitchen, dining/lounge area (with TV), wrap around porch ideal for coffee breaks and beers as the sun sets. And in the backyard, there is a fenced in playing field, outdoor living room, fire pit, BBQ grill and Tiki Bar. You will also have your own private bathroom. Also, if you are traveling with friends and family and need a second bedroom, we can offer you our Farmhouse Room. Annette and Mal live on property (with their two dachshund mixes Taffy & Belle) and are available to assist in your needs but will let you get on with enjoying your vacation! Quaint shops, restaurants/bars, theatre, and of course the world famous Dogfish Head Brewery are all steps away from the property. Sports at the Beach is less than 7 Miles and Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches are less than 15 miles. Milton is a easy to get around. We offer off street parking so you can drive, walk 2 blocks to the brewery, rent bikes in Milton town to visit local attractions. Rent kayaks on the Broadkill river or Uber to get around the area!
