The Studio at Pergola House is a new luxury retreat, 12 blocks from the beach and bluffs north of Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, California. A beautiful escape for the business or personal traveler, guests can walk and bike to all the downtown Santa Monica shops, restaurants and our gorgeous California coastline. Return home at end of day to a studio sanctuary updated with all the comforts modern life has to offer. The Studio at Pergola House is a guesthouse that is situated on the back lot of our 1925 English Country family home - Pergola House. The Studio is surrounded with views of mature flower and vegetable gardens, classic tiled pool, and outdoor living and entertaining spaces. The Studio can be accessed from a gated entrance off the street or alley, and has a separate locked door and staircase that takes you up to the private Studio space. Natural light, pitched ceilings and lovely appointments make this space feel like a luxe hotel suite in the heart of a family neighborhood. There is a small outdoor Studio guest table and two chairs set up exclusively for our Studio guests to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Please remember there is no smoking, pets, nor entertaining guests allowed anywhere on the property. Once inside the sun-washed Studio, all your needs are met: comfortable den and work space, full kitchenette, luxury king sized bed and sleeping area, fully appointed bathroom with Balinese inspired floor tiles. Thoughtfully appointed with techno-friendly outlets, windows and ceiling fan to capture Santa Monica's beautiful breezes, day and night. Fully air conditioned for hot summer and heated for cooler winter nights. Enjoy, relax, recharge and then charge out into the day and night. So much to see and do, and a personal sanctuary to return home to each night. There is an outdoor Studio guest table and two chairs set up for our Studio guests to enjoy, please note that the rest of the backyard and outdoor space is our private family home. There is plenty of free parking in front of our home, but please note the city’s ‘no parking’ signs for street cleaning on Thursday and Friday each week Your hosts live in the main home - Pergola House - and are available via text to answer any questions and make your stay more comfortable 🌺 Ideally located walking distance from the beatiful Santa Monica bluffs and Pacific Ocean, the wonderful Montana Avenue, filled with restaurants and shops, and downtown Santa Monica. City bike and scooter rental pick-up are walking distance on Montana Avenue. 🌺 Bikes, scooters, and ubers are readily available as rentals to take you where you need to go. Walking distance to public bus stops and the Metro. Easy street parking available throughout the day and night. Enjoy our beautiful Santa Monica lifestyle from our corner of the world.
