Self contained studio apartment set in rural location but still within easy distance of Aztec West and The Wave, Easter Compton. Large bedroom, ensuite shower room and small lounge area with kitchenette and sofa bed or single put up bed. Please note that the nearest bus stop is 1 mile away in the village of Almondsbury so guests who are hoping to sight see will either need to be able to take on the walk to the village or have access to a car 😉 Michelle and John welcome couples and families to their newly created studio apartment set in 400 acres of lush farmland on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Almondsbury and within easy reach of the Mall, Cribbs Causeway, The Wave and The Wild Place, The Almondsbury Interchange and Aztec West Business Park. Next year Bristol Zoo will be amalgamating with The Wild Place to add another wonderful attraction and there will also be a wonderful ice skating rink opening at Cribbs Causeway! The accommodation offers 1 bedroom plus a metal action sofa bed in the lounge suitable for short stays and smaller adults. We can also put up a single bed in the main bedroom. The kitchenette is equipped with fridge, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle making it the perfect bolt hole for business people who don't want to eat out every night. There is also a small freezer situated in the bedroom. There is a small room adjacent to the apartment that has a washing machine and heated airer to enable you to dry a small amount of washing. Guests also benefit from their own private outdoor area. Garden furniture is provided to allow you to relax with a glass of wine. There is ample safe off road parking. Guests have their own private garden at the back of the apartment. There are also many footpaths and permissive rights of way across the adjacent farm land. I am always available to answer any questions that you may have and my husband's family have been farming in the village for several decades so if you have any questions regarding the history of the village then he's the one to ask. Almondsbury is conveniently situated 1 mile from the Almondbury Interchange (M4/M5 interchange), 2/3 mile from The Wave on foot via footpath and 1 1/2 miles from Cribbs Causeway shopping mall. The village boasts a friendly local pub and a small shop selling most things. Locally there is plenty to do with The Wild Place Zoo just over 1 mile away and old Down Manor around 3 miles away. There is also a massive surfing venue now open quite literally around the corner. The number 62 bus takes you from Almondsbury in to Thornbury or to Cribbs Causeway in the other direction. It is 1 mile away in the village of Almondsbury. Please note we charge an additional £10 per night for any additional guests using bed settee. The bed settee is only available for shorter stays and is not suitable for larger guests.
