The combination of both units allows a total capacity of 11-12 guests, and the advantage to have them all fully serviced. The Entire Villa is comprised of the basement unit (Mongibello) and the top floor unit (Andronico) build out of a 1793's millstone of local lava stone. Vast open spaces, BBQ area, Swimming pool with lounge area and a breathtaking view of the Gulf and the Volcano. LOCATION Located in Puntalazzo, a hamlet of Mascali (CT), we are at about 30km drive from Taormina and Catania, easily reachable using the highway, and only 10km from the nearest beaches. The newly renovated building aims at bringing new life to an old wine millstone from the late 1700’s surrounded by 11 hectares of lava land with huge outdoor spaces, BBQ corner and swimming pool with a breathtaking sea view that encompasses the eastern coast all the way up to Mt. Etna. The house can accommodate up to 5 people (one double bed, one singles and a sofa bed) and is made of 1 double size bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 kitchen and 1 living room Amenities Guests have access to the private house and outdoor setups, and to a 12x6 meters swimming pool with a lovely lounge area fully equipped with gazebo, sunbeds and shower. It is shared with the owners and other guests of Villa Alessio. The pool opens the 1st May and closes the 15th October, depending on weather conditions. Besides, a free pebble beach is only 10km away. How to find us With nowadays technology shouldn’t be difficult to reach us. But we also offer you two meeting point options at no additional cost, should need be: 1)Puntalazzo, if you feel familiar with driving a little up the mountain, or 2)Giarre-Riposto highway exit gate, showing you the main points of interest on our way up, such as supermarkets, banks, etc. The owners breed chickens, rabbits, geese and horses. Guests are welcome to help themselves to fresh eggs. For any additional need we are always close by. Highlights We’ve got two dogs, Pippo and Teresa. The area is served by pubblic trasportation. The house has a private parking area.
