The Commercial Bank - Macedon Ranges

The Commercial Bank is a beautiful Historical Building that is located in Lancefield Victoria, it is approx 1 hour drive from Melbourne CBD. It sits at the gateway to the Macedon Ranges and is a wonderful base to explore the region. Bookings for one night can be accepted through enquiry with an additional cost of $180 SPECIAL OFFER 10% Discount when booking 3 nights. excluding public holidays and school holidays Please note booking price is for entire space and 11 guests. The Bank The building is two stories and has lovely views of the Macedon Ranges from the upstairs rooms. There are 5 bedrooms. Four queen beds with separate en suite bathrooms with toilet, shower and clawfoot tubs & one bedroom with double bunk. We pride ourselves in offering our guests a clean & luxurious stay with quality bedding and towels provided. There are 2 lounges with gas/electric heating and fireplaces. Only the downstairs fireplace can be used and guests can purchase a bag of wood at Thrifty Link in town. There is a large flat screen Tv in the downstairs lounge. The large Kitchen comes fully equipped with a family sized fridge, large gas oven and everything you need to cook up storm, basic herbs and spices, salt & pepper and tea and coffee. The large extendable dining table comfortably seats 12 guest and is a gorgeous setting for a dinner party and special occasions. There is a gas BBQ with an outdoor dining table and fresh herbs in the garden. The Bank offers a truly unique experience and is the perfect country getaway for family and friends to enjoy a special time away together. Guests have access to entire building. there is no wifi. The Commercial Bank offers a truly unique stay in a beautiful historical building. The commercial bank is within walking distance to everything in the township of Lancefield. Hanging Rock is a 15 minute drive away. Romsey is 10 minute drive and also has a 15 kilometre bike trail between the two towns. There are many wineries in Lancefield Cleveland Winery is a 5 minute drive & is open every weekend from 11am and serves food. Please ensure you make a booking. Curly Flat Vineyard is a 6 minute drive and is open everyday from 12 to 5 pm Parkside Winery is a 7 minute drive and is offers summer events, food, wine tasting and tours. Lyons Will Estate is 10 minute drive and is a boutique winery please check opening times. There is a fantastic Farmers Market every 4th Saturday, but due to covid may not be operational at the current time. Lancefield is really such a sweet country town that offers everything, an IGA supermarket, Great Aussie Pub that is very busy so best book ahead on weekends. A General Store that makes a mean Hamburger and has a Ice-creamery. Bakery, Cafes, Boutique Stores and a Fish and Chip Shop + Awesome Op Shop.
