Charming Corsican Home / Panoramic View on the sea
This charming renovated Corsican home is perfect for a holiday with family, couples, or friends (3 bedrooms). It is nested in the beautiful little village of Canari (northwest of the island) with the most incredible view of the sea, which you will be able to enjoy from the various terraces (and from the living room and bedroom 1). It is ideally located next to beaches, rivers, hikes, other villages and many typical restaurants. Our Corsican home is fully equipped with everything you would need during your holidays, and the open floor plan ensures a very convivial setting. The kitchen has a new oven, dishwasher, and microwave (as well as everything you could possibly need, even to make the most gourmet of meals :) ). It is open with the living room / dining room area that has a lovely fireplace, a TV, router for wifi, and, best of all, a little terrace (excellent spot to have breakfast!) The bedrooms are very cosy and bright, with views on the sea and our little garden. The bathroom was renovated recently with a nice shower (that has massage jets!). The best part of the house, in our opinion, is the amazing stone terrace (over 50m2!) which has a large round stone table, a stone bbq, and some lounging chair. All of this with a spectacular view of the sea. Since it is in a little rural village the only access is by car or taxi. Our friends from the village will come welcome you, and give you the keys. They, and myself, can help you with anything you need during your stay Canari is a very beautiful village, with two little local grocery stores, and an excellent restaurant ( Au Bon Clocher ) where you can try Corsican specialties. In the village's main square stands an impressive white bell tower which is all lit up at night. Moreover, the village has a little gourmet supermarket where you can buy Corsican delicacies and during summer a little pizzaiolo is just 20m from the house. Other notable villages nearby that we recommend visiting are: Nonza, Patrimonio, just to list a few. Again since the setting is rather rural, the best way to get around is by car, motorcycle, or by bike for the more sporty. There are plenty of lovely hikes on the hillside that start from the village (torrents, windmills, forest walks, etc.) and we can recommend some according to your needs! Also, our little village is gifted with a tennis court and bocce ball court for the sporty ones. For those interested in the cultural aspects, there is a traditional Corsican clothes museum that you can visit.
