Comfortable, private room has a double bed and en suite bathroom with wet room style shower. It is quite separate from the rest of the house. There are tea and coffee making facilities and fresh towels provided. Separate study solely for guests use. This comfortable double room has been decorated with Provençal fabrics and a stunning canvas print of Paris by night hangs above the bed (Jimmy is a keen photographer!). You are able to access your en suite bathroom directly from the bedroom. As a guest in our home you will have access to the study and your private en suite bathroom. There is free wifi and tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Fresh towels will be provided for your stay. We have a travel cot should you require one. The kitchen and fridge are made available if guests wish to cook. We will be present throughout your stay and aim to make the experience as welcoming as possible for you. The Mill House is superbly placed for accessing Heriot Watt University (less than a mile away) and nearby Edinburgh with all its cultural and historical attractions. It is perfectly situated for walkers and cyclists and those wanting to enjoy the delights of Edinburgh. You are within minutes of the Pentland hills and Water of Leith walkway. Up the hill in the village of Currie there is a post office, bank and small supermarket. Public transport is available either from Currie or from the nearby Hermiston Park and Ride bus facility, Ingliston park and ride tram or Curriehill train station. The Lothian 44 bus leaves from A70 at the top of Newmills Road. This is a 15minute walk away and goes straight into town. There is private off street parking available and the airport is a 15 minute drive away. Heriot Watt university is 30min walk away or you can borrow a bike to travel there if you don't fancy walking. Guests should be aware we have pets. Other points to note are it is a 30 min walk to heriot watt university. We can provide breakfast for a further £5/guest per day.
