My beautiful 35 m2 studio apartment is every vacationer's dream. It's fully furnished, modern and also conveniently placed just 2,7 km from the city (Website hidden by Airbnb) close to the happenings in the city, but placed far enough to have a peaceful rest, after the busy, adventurous day.It is truly a home away from home and we welcome you with open arms! The apartment is located in a two story house, in a compact neighborhood, easily accessible from the motorway. It's on the first floor, accessible by stairs, which unfortunately means, it isn’t accessible by a wheelchair. This is a private apartment, with a separate entrance, and free parking space in front of the house. You will have the entire apartment for yourself and also full privacy. The shared courtyard leads to two entrances, one for your apartment, and another belonging to a separate house we also own, where live our very friendly tenants, a family of three. The ground floor of the house is occupied by the office of our successful accounting firm. Since travelling is unpredictable and it is difficult to tell what time you will arrive, I use the self check-in option. I do not live in the house where the apartment is located, so it is easier and you do not have to hurry or worry about arriving in time. :) I'll send you a self check-in informations with pictures so you can find the right apartment (once you're on location) and then you can easily enter on your own. :) You will have all the apartment for your self and full privacy. :) I am always available on my phone and I usually come at the check-out to say goodbye. I am also personally available to you daily during your stay from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm because I work in a family company below the apartment. I also put a binder in the apartment with useful information and a map so you can check it out in peace, which will make it easier to explore Ljubljana. :) This is a peaceful neighborhood of residential houses, without crime. However, since it’s a compact settlement and we have no influence over the neighbors, do not expect a grand view from the apartment. If you come visiting with children, the first fenced playground is a 2-minute walk away, but it's one of the smaller ones. Children are also welcome to play in the fenced front yard. I rent bikes. They are free of charge, but I do take a 100 eur as collateral (for every bike), which I return, in full, the moment the bike or bikes are returned undamaged. This payment also goes through Airbnb (I send you a request), as it is the safest possible option. The first city bus station is 700m away, which amounts to about a 9 minute walk. The central train and bus station is 4km away, and airport Jože Pučnik is 22km away. The center of Ljubljana, the congress market "Kongresni trg", is 2.7 km away, about 8 minutes by car, or 34 minutes of strolling. For all your day to day shopping needs, there is a gas station located 500m away, the first store is about 1.2km away from the apartment, and a pharmacy is about 1 km away. The first major shopping center "Intespar Vič" is approx. 1.6km away, while the largest shopping district in Slovenia, called "BTC" is 5.6km away. There is also a hotel with an all night open bar (called "A Hotel") just a 2 minute walk away. Oh, and there's a zoo, if you go on a 3.7km walk, or a 10 minute drive. All data is from online maps, but as each person has their own walking/driving speed, it is entirely possible you can get to your destination faster or slower than estimated. As with many other European cities, The City Municipality of Ljubljana requires of us to collect Tourist Tax. In our case, Tourist Tax is not included in the price, and is paid in cash at the check-in. After the payment, you'll also receive the receipt. Children under the age of 7 are exempt from the Tourist Tax. For children aged from 7 to 18, the tax is halved, which currently amounts to € 1.57 per night. Tourist Tax for adults is € 3.13 per night.
