One of two private cave apartments to rent in the troglodyte village of Goreme HasanCave: Private cave apartments in Göreme Sema Cave Flat (See our other listing under Self-Catering Flats in Goreme) Get down underground in your very own studio cave apartment in the centre of Göreme, the coolest cave village in Cappadocia! We have two private apartments under our house, Elif Cave Flat and Sema Cave Flat (see separate listing under Hasan Cave House in Goreme) which can be rented on their own or together for larger groups. Sema cave is sleeps up to two people in one double bed. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette and stone tiled bathroom. Guests have access to the house garden and terraces with a view over the weird and wonderful local rock formations. The kitchenette and fridge allow you to prepare your own meals with food from the local shops and markets, great for families, people with dietary restrictions and people who love to cook. Join us for woodcarving demonstrations in our cave workshop, music nights in our family-run restaurant in town, or just relaxing in the garden (where the wi-fi signal is). There is no TV in the flat, just the sound of noisy sparrows. Göreme is an amazing town with lots to see and do. From your cave apartment you can walk 5 minutes to the centre of town with its lively restaurants, cafes and bars, or walk a bit further to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a World Heritage Site full of Byzantine churches. Explore the gorgeous valleys of Cappadocia just around the corner, full of wildlife, archaeology and wide-open spaces, by foot, bike, horse, or balloon! Or shop for souvenirs, see a Sema ceremony of whirling dervishes, unwind in the local Turkish bath, then relax with a tea or glass of local wine. A short bus ride away are other cave towns to explore, markets, ceramics, and valleys to walk in. We are not a hotel or pension, but we can help with information and booking activities, like balloon flights and tours. Breakfast is not included . The easiest way to reach us is by shuttle from Nevsehir or Kayseri airport- we can book one to pick you up and bring you straight to our place. There is street parking for those who arrive by car. We welcome families and guests with young children can use our travel cots, potty, car sear and extra baby blankets. Cappadocia is also beautiful during the winter months, when snow covers the rock formations and life is quiet. Our caves are centrally heated. Please note that if you're planning to visit Turkey, you will need to apply online for an e-visa from the Turkish government website.
