Noordhoek is one of those villages that make life worth living. I am so grateful to be able to call this home, and to be able to share my experience with you. Our home is close to the beach, local amenities which include world-class restaurants, horse-riding facilities and beautiful places to walk. A restful space that is visually appealing and situated in a charming neighbourhood, which will hopefully become a port of call for you again and again. Our home is the kind of place you walk into and you will immediately feel the magic. The wild garden looks like a place for fairytales with nooks and crannies, offering places to sit or sunny spots around the pool area. The house is lovingly decorated in a morrocan/african style with furniture that came out with my family from Kenya when we immigrated in the 60's. Ecclectic and relaxing, cool in summer and cosy in winter. I couldnt think of anyplace I'd rather be. My guests will have full access to everything. My home is your home for your stay and I want you to be as comfortable as possible. I am available 24/7 to help with anything. I want to make your stay as easy and memorable as possible so dont be shy to ask. A rural village with horses, guinea fowl, views for the soul and delicious food on offer in world-class restaurants. Start your days by strolling up to our Farm village through the common for the best coffee I have ever tasted from our super-friendly coffee local 'The Village Roast' followed by super-healthy smoothies from the lass next door and a hearty breakfast, and you'll be ready for anything. Walks on the beach? Horse-riding? Mountain hikes through the fynbos? We've got it all. Getting around the village to see local things is pretty easy as everything is quite close. The beach is a 10 minute walk from our home and the Farm village also about a 10 minute walk. There you will find shops, a pub and various places to eat. This area is very safe so in the evenings its rather nice to stroll up to The Red Herring for a sundowner and a bite to eat. Also a 10 minute walk. Uber taxies are available for anything else and I am also available to help where I can. I do have a beloved dog that will steal his way into your hearts like they have with all my other guests. Well-behaved, and gentle, all he'llwant is your attention but will not bother you at all. He is allowed on the furniture but guest dogs not. For short stays, 2 or 3 days, Im happy to provide tea or coffee and fruit for breakfast otherwise anything longer you will need to provide for yourself. i have a separate fridge for guests as well as cupboard space in the kitchen.
