You are a convenient 5 min drive to Bunbury's main beach, into the town centre, coffee strip and boutiques, and a 2 min walk to a brand new shopping complex hosting a Woolworths, take-away food, pharmacy, butcher & bakery. Our place is a brilliant space for families or large groups, with private bedrooms, bathrooms and additional living spaces where you can escape the group for a quiet read of a book in a cosy corner, or continue the fun and games with a movie night. Robust and child friendly furniture, styled in a mature and relaxed manner means everyone can enjoy their getaway without worrying what the kids are up to! - Cook up a masterchef worthy meal for your family and friends using local produce bought at the renowned Bunbury Farmer's Market in our gourmet kitchen. You'll have everything you need for each course as it features a large oven, double sink, generous island bench space, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and all the required utensils and sets of pots and pans. You'll also find in the cupboard crockery and serving platters, wine glasses and cheese boards for your resident entertainer. Plus an array of best selling cookbooks such as Jamie Oliver, and Donna Hay to inspire your holiday creations. - To ensure you have the most relaxing stay the 4 bedrooms are equipped with comfortable mattresses, good quality pillows, luxury linen, lamps, block out curtains and mirrors. The theatre room features a generous queen sized sofa bed, taking the house total to sleep up to 10 adults. - Travelling with babies can mean you have to pack a lot of stuff so we have provided 1x high chair and the provision for 2x cots available. There is a spacious permanent cot in one of the bedrooms and pack and play porta cot available upon request if you are travelling with another family. - We have 2 spacious bathrooms & toilets, the ensuite featuring a large double shower, and the 2nd bathroom a shower and a good sized separate bath, perfect for piling all the kids in at the end of a long and fun day (or for having a quiet glass of wine with a book)! - The cosy theatre room with large HD TV, Apple TV, Sound system & DVD player and lounge that becomes a generously sized sofa bed is a great place for the teenagers to escape, or even the parents to share a glass of wine in front of a movie once the kids are in bed. - The large open plan living area features relaxing lounges, seating up to 10 people and a 65-inch TV ensures your family and friends will gather and enjoy a night in over board games or a favourite TV show. - In our generous dining space with an extendable table to sit 10 friends you can host breakfasts, brunches, lunches or dinners, using the large island bench with barstools as overflow seating. - We've got block out curtains in all the bedrooms to ensure you have the deepest, most relaxing sleep on your holiday, and the rooms are perfect for day time naps for both big and little people! - It is a fully enclosed property and back yard with gates at the very front, sides and back of the property which means you the kids can happily play outside while you relax either on the back deck or inside the house. - Spacious undercover entertaining deck area with a Weber Baby “Q” BBQ. It is a perfect entertaining space to flow in and out of the house with the generous glass french doors opening straight onto the deck. No outdoor furniture is provided but feel free to temporarily move the expandable indoor table outside to enjoy meals in the fresh air. - If you're driving, you are welcome to use our large double lock up garage. - We provide all your linen and towels, plus a range of healthy eco toiletries for you to use during your stay such as shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and body wash. - Built in wardrobes and chests of drawers can be found in all bedrooms for those staying over longer periods (or those who just like to unpack!) and all bedrooms have a mirror. - The spacious laundry is equipped with a washer/dryer, an iron and ironing board, and a generous sized sink, perfectly for baby baths. Clothes washing detergent is provided also in the same eco range as our body products. - A small amount of young children’s toys are provided and we also have board games for the older 'kids' in the family. - Bed combinations include 1x King, 1x Queen, 1x Double, 2x Queen Sofa Beds (with good mattresses!) 2x Cots available. A host is available to welcome you if you love a helpful tip on how to enjoy the house and the local area, or lock-box access is available for those cruising into the South-west of WA for a weekend getaway late after work. It is immediately opposite the delightful Bunbury Bird Park, a natural park and water land, with walkways and bike paths throughout. On the opposite side of the lake there is a large children's playground with public toilets and spaces to picnic which is a popular spot with local families! It is only a short 10-minute walk from the beach where there are bike paths and walk ways, BBQ spots, look outs and a few cafes as you make your way closer to town. This is a favourite place for locals to take afternoon walks and bike rides. The beach is a great place to unwind and take a relaxing walk on the sand, and if you’re up for a longer walk you can find yourself at water front breweries for a drink on a warm summers night. The best mode of transport is by car. There is a car rental service in close proximity of the home, bus stops a short walking distance away along main roads and essential ammenities within a 2 min walk. This is a great home for those visiting the South West of Western Australia, a short 1.5 hour drive from Perth City, once in Bunbury, it is only a 1 hour drive to Busselton, a 1.5 hour drive to Dunsborough, or 2 hr drive to Margaret River. It is in the perfect location for breaking up a longer road trip for a few nights, or to set up as home base for a longer holiday and venture out for day trips. Alternatively it is a great home to invite friends and family for special occasions to bring them all together in a beautiful home and surrounds for birthday’s or to spend time all together with overseas or interstate guests.
