Gameljne is a village being part of greater Ljubljana. It is a perfect getaway to major Slovenian destination as it is really close to the motorway. 40 minutes to Bled, 60 to Koper, 40 to Postojna, 20 minutes to airport. Our house is in the new neighborhood - modern and silent. It has great places for kids to play football and basketball, tennis, and great possibilities to hike to nearby hills Rašica and Šmarna, the most popular 30 minutes daily hiking locations with locals. There is a local restaurant where food can be ordered and a great Chineese restaurant 2 km away. There is rafting and cannoing possibility also only 2 km away. Bus No 8 and No 21 are 5 minutes walking distance from our house, every 10 minutes go to city center. It takes 30 minutes to get to the center by bus, 10 minutes by car. Sharing our own car would be a special arrangement. Up to 4 cars can be parked in front of the house. in spring / summer there is a tennis court 50 m away from our property, 40 minutes drive two major lakes to swim in, 60 minutes drive Adriatic see, skiing is 20km away. We have some sport equipment to let you use or help you with hiring. In special cases we can provide guided tours for hiking destinations and local tourist attractions.
