Greenway Holiday Bungalow

Greenway is a modern, self-catering holiday bungalow in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The bungalow offers a great base to explore the local area with Agatha Christie’s former home, the Greenway House & Gardens (National Trust), being a mile down the road. The area is spoilt for great beaches all within a short drive or walk from the bungalow. The bungalow makes a great place for keen walkers with great walks exploring the coast and the River Dart from the doorstep. The bungalow sleeps 4 people with one King bedroom and a twin room with 2 x 2ft6" singles. The bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen. The open plan lounge/diner has an extendable dining table for 4 people. The lounge and main bedroom both have a TV and there is WIFI throughout. There is also a modern shower room and WC. The kitchen leads out to a south-facing patio and garden. There is also a BBQ and Wood-burner for guests to enjoy. The bungalow has an allocated parking space for 1 car and there is additional parking at the bottom of the site. Greenway Bungalow is situated in a quiet but convenient location from which you can visit Torbay and the South Hams’ many attractions, explore the beautiful South Hams or just sit back, relax and enjoy the outstanding view with a BBQ. Situated on the edge of Galmpton village, the bungalow is only a short walk from the local shops which include a Post Office / general store, an excellent butcher and a country pub with fine ales. Or you can take a five minute ferry trip for great home made food, local wines and ales at the Ferry Boat Inn, Dittisham. The bungalow is excellently situated for many varied public transport routes, which means you never really need to take a vehicle with you unless you wish to. The local bus route & steam train station are just a short walk, and there are also ferry routes from Greenway Quay, just over a mile’s walk from the bungalow. Dartmouth, Brixham, Torquay, Paignton, Totnes and Dittisham are all very easily accessible. Greenway bungalow has a dedicated parking space on site. There is also an overflow car park at the bottom of the private site. The bungalow is within walking distance of a frequent bus service linking Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Kingswear (for Dartmouth) or just 5 minutes in the car to the nearest beach Broadsands. The village shop (Galleon stores) and local butchers (Savills of Galmpton) and pub (The Manor Inn) all are 5 minutes walk from the front door. The local shop/butchers and pub are all within a 5 minutes walk from the bungalow
