Luxury, contemporary hayloft with stunning views.
The Hayloft is a self contained flat with stunning views across surrounding countryside and with a lovely balcony. Ideal for exploring the local area, the Hayloft is conveniently situated between Cheltenham and Cirencester in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds. Newly built (finished July 2020), it has all mod cons and is well equipped with flexible sleeping (the king size bed can convert to twin beds on request). The owners live on site (in a separate building). We love living here and look forward to welcoming you. Don't worry - whilst we are around and about if you need us, you will be left to your own devices. If you need help with extras, that can be arranged - shopping, bookings, take-aways and so on. You will find the basics on arrival - there will always be tea and coffee, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, loo roll and the like. Parking is just at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the Hayloft. The balcony, with seating for four, offers spectacular views across the open countryside. A very generous open plan living space (again with the fabulous views) is well equipped and beautifully presented. The two bedrooms share the shower room - one bedroom has a double bed, the other has a zip-lock king size bed that can be turned into twin beds on request. Guests will have the Hayloft and balcony to themselves, There is a gym below the Hayloft with basic gym equipment, yoga mats and a large TV for You-Tube classes. This is regularly used by the owners but can be reserved on request. There is also undercover cycle storage available and our site is protected by automatic gates, CCTV and, of course, the dogs. We are generally about if we are needed - we sometimes work from home... but we do not intend to intrude on your stay. There are dogs on site that will always announce your arrival - that is their job... The Cotswolds is a fabulous place to be - there is so much to see and do. The Bathurst Arms is only a 20 minute stroll across the fields and we will be building a file on local info and encouraging you to leave ideas for future guests if you would like to, in the visitor's book. There are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities but we are remote so you will need a car to get here.... there are no shops within walking distance but plenty within a short hop (there is a large Waitrose and a large Tesco in Cirencester) along with farm shops, grocers, butchers and so on. We really want you to enjoy your time here - if something is wrong, please tell us.
