We just live 10 minutes away so give us a shout if needed. - 7 minutes walk to Dunfermline Abbey and Palace - 5 minutes walk to Pittencrief park - 3 min walk to Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museaum -30 minute train Journey to Edinburgh Princess Street -5 min walk to Dunfermline Highstreet -5 min walk to Dunfermline train station -3 min walk to Alhambra Theatre -2 min walk to Link Church -Around 10 minutes Journey to Queen Margaret Hospital (train journey). - 7 minute drive to Queen Margaret Hospital. Bus station is at a 10 minute walk. Train station is at a 5 minute walk. Travelling to Edinburgh: Can buy a train return ticket (~£7) from the Dunfermline town train station (5 mins walk) to Edinburgh Waverley train station, train journey of 25-30 mins. This will take you to central Edinburgh and to Princess street where you can walk to Edinburgh castle and Edinburgh old town. Also worth travelling by train where you will find breathtaking views of the Forth road bridge and Queensferry Crossing, whilst the train travels on the Forth Bridge. Travelling to Queen Margaret Hospital for work: -It is a 7 minute drive to the Hospital -You can also take the train where you can buy a return ticket for around £2.50 to Dunfermline Queen Margaret train station(~3mins).From the train station to the Hospital entrance it is about a 5 minute walk. Altogether it is a journey of about 13 mins from the flat. ( I would recommend taking a train if you don't have a car) - You can take a bus from the Bus station which is at a ten minute walk from the flat, At the bus station you will find a bus every 10-15minutes heading to the hospital. The bus takes about 10 minutes to arrive at the hospital. It will cost £3.60 for a return. Free parking on the street is available on weekends, however can be difficult to find since it is a residential block and located in central Dunfermline.
