I have lived here all my life its quiet but shops in the village only a mile away and a small town/shops within a ten minute drive. The views are beautiful at all times of year. Roads fairly quiet. plenty of footpaths and we have local maps. near Fountains Abbey and Studley water gardens which is the National Trusts most visited property . Beautiful moorland on Dallowgill and Hackfall woods.
