The House On the Corner - Morfa

Built in 1960 by Elles grandparents, we have restored The House On The Corner in a mid century style. Repurposing and restoring old features whilst ensuring that you have all the mod cons you need for a comfortable stay. The house is light, bright and airy. Bedrooms are stylish, spacious and comfortable. The beach is just a stones throw away at the bottom of the road. And one of the worlds best beach pubs - The Ty Coch Inn can be found just along the beach. A perfect spot for a holiday. We have two double downstairs bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms upstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms is open to the staircase. Please note our stairs are open tread, and steep. We have a baby gate at the bottom and the top, but please note the photos and be aware that the stairs may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. The master bedroom downstairs has an ensuite shower room. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower. The dining area features a 6 seater dining table with room for 8 people using a window seat. There is a large L shaped sofa and an armchair in the living room area. The living room has a gas fire. The conservatory features a table and two chairs, plus a small sofa and two armchairs. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of crockery, glassware etc. It also features a pantry to store your food. We have an oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A washing machine and extra fridge freezer can be found in the garage along with garden furniture, games and a BBQ. We also have a ping pong table for wet days. We have wifi, TV and radio . The house is central heated and cosy in winter. The garden wraps around the house and is huge, and brilliant for sunbathing and games, but is not fenced - please be aware of this for children and dogs. We have lots of outdoor furniture and a BBQ (NB*we kindly ask you clean after use!! ) WE PROVIDE BEDDING,BATH MATS & TOWELS but please BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. Check in is after 5pm and check out is before 9.30am. We ask that you stick to this schedule as our cleaners like to make sure they have time to get the house spic and span for the next quests. This is especially important during the extra covid cleans. Thank you. We are perfectly placed for beaches, walking and eating. Morfa Nefyn is a wonderful place for a holiday, with plenty of entertainment within walking distance of the house, and the wonders of the Llyn and Snowdon within easy driving distance. We have two local pubs and a great local cafe , local shop and post office all within walking distance, and several more great eateries near by. There are supermarkets in Nefyn. Elle x The house and garden are yours to treat as your own. The House on the Corner is a holiday home loved by four generations of our family, and we hope you will love it as much as we do. We have a local caretaker who will be on call to answer any problems. We are perfectly placed for beaches, walking and eating. Lots of stuff to walk to, but to explore further afield you may wish to take a bus or use a car. Please read the information about our garden and pets and children.
