Guest dining room, guest sitting room with games, maps and books about the area, information about local attractions, terrace garden, drying room for outdoor gear with hanging area for clothes, secure bicycle/equipment storage. We live on site so are usually available, if required. Wheddon Cross is a working village in the heart of Exmoor. We have a livestock market, which is worth a visit when it’s in full flow! We have a very well-stocked village shop with post office and petrol station and we’re just a short walk from the Coleridge Way. The village inn is directly opposite Exmoor House and serves great food 7 days a week. We are within very easy reach of all that Exmoor has to offer - beautiful beaches, stunning scenery, historic towns and villages and iconic sites - so, instead of staying in one of the busy towns, where overnight parking is at a premium, why not stay with us where parking is free and plentiful. You can even catch the local bus just outside Exmoor House if you don't want to drive during the day! We have a bus stop a few metres along the road that provides transport to Minehead and Tiverton. We have plenty of parking space in our private car park, which is to the rear of the house. We also have a lovely sitting room, with comfy sofas, open fire, books and board games - the perfect place to curl up with a mug of hot chocolate on a winter’s day. There is a new guest garden, if the weather is fine, and sports fields and children's playground just a few metres away.
