Charteris Bay Getaway.

I'm fortunate enough to live in an amazing place (with a cat who comes with house!). I'm away frequently so would love to share with those wanting a Peninsula break. There's no TV but there's wifi (and books). The views great whether you're relaxing in spa or on couch. This is my home and I welcome all who don't mind a cat and some personal effects. There's no cleaning fee so it suits those happy to leave tidy (if that's not the getaway you're after this may not be the place for you). There is are no petrol stations out this way so bear that in mind. The local store is more then well supplied to meet basic needs. There is a lockbox for the key and I will be available to answer any questions you may have while you are here via phone or message. Charteris bay is a 35 minute drive from Christchurch CBD. It is a 5 minute drive to the Diamond Harbour ferry if you want to pop over to Lyttelton (the Saturday morning markets are lovely). There are wonderful clifftop and coastal walks and Mount Herbert (the highest point on the Peninsula) is a good option for those inclined.
