The 2-room apartment is located in the ancient center of the idyllic and quiet hamlet Ombriaco, just above Bellano. The terrace is absolutely private with a view of Lake Como, its mountains and Bellano. Being passionate hikers and cyclists we are happy to give tips for excursions in the area. Enjoy the ancient hamlet and quiet surroundings of Ombriaco. The busier village Bellano with restaurants, shops and bars immediately at the lakeside and a small beach area is in ca 15/20 minutes walking distance (5 min by car) . Lake Como ferries are leaving from Bellano and take you to all of the most beautiful villages (e.g. Varenna, Bellaggio, Menaggio, Como) . Cyclists and Hikers will love our village as a starting point for excursions from easy to challenging. A large, free parking lot is in ca. 5 min walking distance from the appartment. Bellano has a train station with direct connections to Milan or to Bormio. Ferries are leaving directly from Bellano and take you to beautiful villages around. The apartment is located in the historic center and can only be reached by one of the ancient footpaths. You may leave the car in a spacious and free parking in approximately 5 minutes walking distance.
