Garsbheinn B&B Attic Suite

The village of Elgol offers unbeatable views of the Cuillins and the Small Isles. It has seasonal boat trips, going to Loch Coruisk, Rum and Canna. The B&B is on the Skye Trail. There is an Elgol Shop serving, crafts, home baking, soup and sandwiches. Coruisk House is a local restaurant and can be viewed and booked online in advance. Broadford is the nearest town with shops,a chemist, fuel and various restaurants. A full 2 course breakfast is supplied containing local produce. There is tea and coffee facilities in the room. There is also a fridge in your room for food and drinks etc. Laundry and drying of clothes on request. There is also a single bed on request , I can therefore cater for 3 people with a supplement for the extra person. There Is a sound bar and a DVD player with an extensive collection of movies if the weather keeps you indoors. I serve breakfast in the front porch or outside if weather permits. there is always fresh fruits,coffee, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or a full Scottish breakfast. i am always available to answer questions on Skye and the surrounding area as my family have lived here for generations. My partner if available can speak Catalan,Spanish and French. The Cuillins are a spectacular mountain range, popular with hillwalkers and climbers. Loch Coruisk is famous for it's location in the heart of the Cuillins, painted by Turner and now a popular wedding venue, you can always see seals, sometimes dolphins, birds of prey and much more on this trip. The boat trips to the small isles in spring and early summer are delightful and you can see puffins galore on Canna. The Skye Trail passes my house and is a spectacular walk but must be approached with caution.
