Enter into this secular home, located in the historic town of São Brás de Alportel. Take the opportunity to know this family of craftsmen, whose wisdom has been following generations. The space includes a double bedroom with comfortable bed and bathroom with shower. The other common areas of the house are also available for our guests. The living room has a fireplace, TV and sofas (extremely comfortable and reclining, perfect for a good nap!) The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, toaster, coffee maker and washing machine. The traditional Algarve terrace has a view of the village center and is the perfect place to catch some sun and enjoy reading a book. Here you will have the opportunity to learn more of the Algarve tradition. Each element of this family has the knowledge and wisdom of traditions and unique crafts. São Brás de Alportel is known for its flower festival at Easter where the streets are filled with carpets full of fresh aroma and colorful flowers! In summer (last weekend of July) there is a traditional Fair (Feira da Serra) where you can buy crafts, gastronomy, sweets and listen to traditional music. An example of the best traditions in Algarve. There are buses every day departing from Faro and arriving to São Brás in 40 minutes. The bus stop is just 5 minute walk from the house. The village is located 20 minutes by car from Faro International Airport. Our guests will have available a bicycle per person to be able to walk through the area.
