Private terrace has an amazing view from the port of Riposto to Taormina, you can admire the colors of dawn on the sea, the magic of the starry heavens. Perfect place for holiday or work, short or long permanence All our accomodations are HEATED by a biomass boiler, we mainly use organic cotton for sheets and towels; these choices together with others such as not having air conditioning, and attention to saving and energy efficiency are our small contribution to respecting the environment. Our guests also have FREE USE for wifi, laundry, mini-spa (in summer) and are welcome in the 25 hectares of the farm to collect seasonal fruit and vegetables or simply for a walk. ON DEMAND are available extra rooms and ambients, islated and specificly equipped for office, retreats, or meeting We are available for wine tasting, farm guided tour, breakfast or dinner in the main common building that was the place where grapes was processed The farm could be ideal place for short or long permanence. You can come if you need a break for enjoy holiday or focus in your work. We will try to provide any kind of facilities you need. Special care and cleaning is dedicated with specific products for each change of guest. The Bagolaro Houses is part of a landscape restoration project on the Etna slope and offer widespread hospitality in the agricultural context of a company perched on the dry stone walls of the lava terraces, today a UNESCO heritage site. Our guests can explore the 25 hectares property to discover the permacultural project of the farm and the eco-sustainable choices in the renovations of the buildings that in the previous century were one of the largest wineries in the area. The scents and colors of the Mediterranean Sea will be the setting for relaxing moments, in the shade of the citrus grove, or discovering the first fruits of the season among the trees of the orchard or walking through the rows of trees in the vineyard. We live in the farm and respecting privacy we love met our guest in our free time also if unfortunately, it's not so much. Anyway, working in the farm so we are always reachable, available and happy give usable information for you enjoy the area. On demand and depending on the season we can support for organizing excursion trekking or sailing to discovery the surround, tasting or dinner to enjoy the local product, and anyway try satisfy your requests. This slope of Etna has green and rich vegetation during whole the year. It is a rural area, isolated but not far from urban area. We are located in the middle between Catania, Taormina and the top of Etna Vulcan. All is far no more than 40 minutes. Driving 20 minutes it is reachable nice beach of Marina di Cottone in Fiumefreddo or San Marco, spending 30 minutes you can arrive to Alcantara river. Driving 10 minutes from the farm there is the village of Piedimonte where you can find pharmacy, market, bakery, butchery, fruit and vegetable The area has steep street not always perfect but it is possible drive with each kind of car. It is possible walks trekking on the farm and in the surrounding area, but the place is not well connected with public transport so by foot it is not easy to get supplies of basic necessities. it is advisable to have the car or a lot of patience We suggest rent a car for arrive in the farm also if it's possible organize little excursions with public transport anyway it's better have car for move from here - We are a big eco farm on the slope of Etna (the highest volcano in Europe) so if you are not used the streets could appear really steep, and not easy to drive, please take your time without panic and don’t forget, you are on holiday. - Place could appear ”wild” but it is not dangerous and we are here for help you or pick up if you need - Don’t forget that travel is also discovering different "way" and culture - Usually at least a day before arrival always I like wrote our guests asking if it need help for reach the farm anyway I will give additional information about the street, please accept our help before be lost and don’t hesitate contact if something appear not clear - Please get attention to the photos where you can find important detail that sometime make the difference for you - anyway if something for you important it is not clear from photos always better ask it
