Little Manor Annexe - Beautiful Rural Location

A bright and airy two bedroom annexe on the side of our family home set down a private drive in the little village of Downhead. Wonderful views of the fields to enjoy at the front and side of the home and quiet woodland behind us. Wildlife and farm animals are easily spotted nearby. The popular East Mendip Way footpath passes the edge of the garden, offering fabulous walks on the doorstep. With parking outside the door and being on one level, the annexe is suitable for all abilities. The first of the two bedrooms has a double bed and the second with zip and link beds so it can be a twin room or a super king. Modern shower room, with walk in shower, towels are provided. The property is tiled throughout with underfloor heating. The small kitchen area has a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle along with crockery and cookware. You will access the property through your own external door, the property comprises of kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and shower room. There is a small garden with a seating area for guests use which is accessible up some steps to the side of the property. I work from home, so generally there is someone around if you have any questions. We are nestled in between Shepton Mallet and Frome, surrounded by other country villages including Leigh On Mendip, Mells and Nunny all of which have lovely village pubs and village shops. The medieval town of Frome is just 6 miles away with its independent shops, cool cafes and restaurants and the award winning independent market taking place on the first Sunday of each month from March to December. Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge and Longleat are all within half an hour of us. The city of Bristol is just 18 miles away with great shopping and many tourist attractions. We are in a rural village with no public transport so you will need a car to get to us. The nearest train station is in Frome, approx 15 minutes travel time. Bath Spa and Castle Cary Train Stations are within 30 minutes.
