Unique Perth Hills Romantic Railway Carriage, circa 1917 set in lovely cottage garden visited by friendly quendas, possums, skinks & birds. 10 min walk to rural Kalamunda & country walks. Charmingly decorated & cosy. Queen bed, tv/dvd, kitchenette facilities, fridge, microwave, coffee pod machine, wifi, separate bathroom. The carriage is 100 years old and exudes charm and character. It is nestled into the back garden and has its own private cottage garden, with a fence and gate for extra privacy. For an additional fee, there is a Balinese Stone Bath in the garden that offers the opportunity for a luxurious bath under the stars. The Carriage is over 110 years old and is therefor "old" and small, compact but cosy. We have renovated the carriage to today's standards but have kept much of the character as original as possible as was when first built to give you the feeling of days gone by. We provide our guests with as much creature comforts as possible to make their stay enjoyable and we are always at hand if need. We live in the Hills in a bush and garden setting and surrounded by beautiful trees and bush land so consequently we do get wildlife on the property, quendas, possums, reptile and of course our beautiful birds that Western Australia is famous for regularly visit us. We also have an Organic Day Spa located on the property and we will try our best to accommodate your spa treatments at a time to suit you.
