Country Cottage - Teme Valley Views

Through woodlands and sheep grazing pasture, our cottage is located at the end of a stone farm track. A paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and walkers. Stunning walks up to the woods, up over the valley for breathtaking views or down to the beautiful River Teme. Wonderfully rural and peaceful with great valley views yet still only a 5 minute drive from cosy pubs and cafes and a little further on to small towns with a great pubs, restaurants and markets. Complimentary tea, and coffee. Our cottage is set in the beautiful Teme Valley where you will enjoy the wonderful views and peace and quiet of the countryside. We are located on a great network of footpaths straight from the front door that can take you up to the woods and hills or to the River Teme down the valley. Situated on a private floor, the spacious king size room comfortably accommodates three people plus an infant The single bed will be made up ready for bookings of three people. If you are are a booking of two guests and require the single bed then please just ask. The private adjacent bathroom has a shower and a bath with plenty of hot water. The spacious room will accommodate your own travel cot if travelling with an infant. Should you wish you may enjoy the use of the DVD player in the bedroom. We have a collection of DVD's for you to choose from. Tea and coffee making facilities available. Breakfast (continental grab bag) is available, please request if you would like this. Our guests are more than welcome to enjoy our seating area outside the front door over looking the valley where we have an outdoor fire for you to enjoy. A complimentary basket of wood, kindling, paper and matches can be provided for you, please request before arriving. We will usually be here to welcome you. If we are not around we will let you know, so you can then self check in. Just follow the self check in instructions. Hand sanitizer will be located in the hallway for your use. We are here to help with any enquirers and to give advice on great local pubs and restaurants, places to visit and explore. Well off the beaten track, rural, stunning views, and peaceful. Wonderful to sit out in the garden at dawn and listen to the amazing dawn chorus and equally at night to view the stars and enjoy an outside fire. We are a fantastic base for walkers and are situated perfectly for great walks, with wonderful valley views, woodlands and the RiverTeme. There are many walks to choose from. A reliable, local family run friendly bus service , Yarranton Brothers, operates between Monday and Saturday, traveling between Tenbury Wells and Worcester and Tenbury Wells and Kidderminster. We are within walking distance to a bus stop, and even closer to an unofficial bus stop which has been used for decades! Local train stations are Kidderminster , Worcester and Ludlow which are all just 30 mins drive away. The medieval town of Ludlow is only 30 minutes drive away and is definitely worth a visit. Diamond buses run Monday to Saturday from Kidderminster to Ludlow. This bus stop is a short five minute drive away. If you would like a journey back in time then visit our local Severn Valley Railway line. Here you will enjoy the wonderful steam trains and beautiful Severn Valley views. We are very rurally located. When it’s a dark evening you may find a torch helpful to help guide you down from your car to our cottage.
