A stylish, quiet and comfortable bedroom in a large Victorian house. Situated in a desirable neighbourbood with numerous interesting restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to Manchester, main line rail station and international airport. Guests are staying in our home. Heaton Moor is a suburb located in Stockport, Greater Manchester, in North West England. It is one of the Four Heatons and borders onto Heaton Chapel, Heaton Norris and Heaton Mersey. Heaton Moor is characterised by affluent Victorian housing built between 1850 and 1900 along tree-lined streets that follow the field patterns of a former agricultural economy. Heaton Moor is within commuting distance of Manchester city centre and Stockport town centre and the social life of Didsbury is near by. The centre of Heaton Moor has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. All these factors combine to make it a very desirable area. Road: It is a 5-minute drive from our house to junction 1 of the M60 motorway. Bus: There are frequent services from nearby bus stops. The journey into the centre of Manchester will take about 20 minutes. Rail: We have a local rail station within easy walking distance (Heaton Chapel). This station in on the Manchester to Stockport line. From Stockport Station, trains run regularly to London (a journey time of less than 2 hours). Air: Manchester International Airport is a 20-minute taxi drive from our house. There are two shared bathrooms in the house, with an abundance of hot water and with high pressure showers. Please note that this room is on the top floor of the house and there are two flights of stairs.
