Stylish Glamping Tepee for Couples or Friends

The glamping movement is growing, and it’s not showing signs of slowing down. Glamping is a a fusion of glamour and camping, where nature meets modern luxury. Connected by wooden walkways we have set up three tepee sites on large circular timber platforms, hovering over native rushes and grasses at the bottom of our 1.1 ha property. Surrounded by pine and native trees, Tepee's setting invites you to unwind, unplug and re-connect with nature. A true Glamping experience. Our tents are fitted out with quality beds, duvets and pillows, cotton linen, shower towels and fairy lights. Camping toilet and shower facilities are close by. The two single beds can be pushed together into one king size bed. Please let us know, which sleeping arrangement you prefer. This booking is for Tepee #3. Our communal outdoor spaces including sun loungers, picnic table and fire pit can be used during your stay. Each tepee also has a private front porch from where your tepee is accessed. Shower and bathroom facilities are shared. If we are not home, you can reach us on our mobile phones if needed. We are a five minute drive away from Matakana village and ten minutes from Omaha beach. The Matakana Coast is beautiful- From great beaches, beautiful vineyards, amazing restaurants and outdoor and watersport activities, there is something for everyone! We also operate award-winning Blue Adventures, a local watersports school. Look us up online, to book an activity with us. As public transport is limited, we recommend you arrive by car. Our tepees are located a short two minute walk from our house. Staying in a tepee might not be for everyone but we will certainly try our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We recommend you bring a torch and insect repellent. We also recommend you bring warm clothes, good walking shoes, rain coat and an an extra blanket during the shoulder seasons or if you get cold easily. There are no cooking facilities, but great restaurants close-by. Our tepees are off grid, but we provide power banks to charge your devices. Please also note that our tepees are waterproofed, but might leak in very heavy rain. We will be in touch with you in case heavy rain is forecasted. Traffic can be heard from nearby Leigh Road. However, traffic during the night is very minimal.
