Goulburn River Lodge offers a unique experience with 7 beautiful acres of gardens and lakes to explore. Our mud brick accommodation offers a warm, welcoming home for your stay. Whether you want to hike our local ranges, fish, visit wineries, ride your bike or just relax on your private deck, come visit our beautiful part of the world. If you are looking for a private retreat to visit for a quiet get away, water sports, ride, hike, visit wineries or walk, our little valley offers everything you need. Guests have access to 16 acres of beautiful gardens and lakes as well as direct access to the Goulburn River. Whilst we offer private retreats for all guests to enjoy, we live locally so are available to assist with any questions you have during your stay. Our Lodge is located in Thornton and is a short walking distance to our General Store, butcher, local hotel and post office. Parking is available on site. Our local town is a short walking distance and Eildon/ Alexandra are a 7 minute drive away. Perfect place for walking or riding your bike to explore the area, or a short drive to many activities such as Lake Eildon, Cathedral Ranges, restaurant, wineries and local produce stores. Enjoy a relaxing weekend at our beautiful property lying on a sun lounge, bring your bike or walking shoes if you want to include exercise, or drive to explore many activities and places our area has to offer. This Unit is pet friendly, outside only. A maximum of two pets are allowed in a fully fenced garden. Due to allergies, pets are not allowed indoors. An additional cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if animals are allowed inside.
