The Garden Room at Grand View!

If you want a view, then you've got one here! Our simple but cosy garden room is set up for 2 people. Its a small studio with double bed, kitchenette and ensuite. Its private, set within our garden overlooking Carn Brea Castle and The Great Flat Lode with views towards St Ives Bay, the North Cliffs and to the right is St Agnes Beacon. We are positioned centrally between the North and South coasts of Cornwall approx 1 hr from Lands End. The perfect place to base yourself from & explore Cornwall A wooden Garden Room, fully insulated, with underfloor heating. Small kitchenette area to prepare an afternoon cream tea and a microwave to warm up that pasty! A covered outdoor space to sit and enjoy the view and sunset. There is a firepit available for your use but at your own risk. We trust that our guests will be sensible with the size of fire they light and be aware that the building is also made of wood!! If you leave the adjacent door open, your room, bedding, curtains and every item of clothing will smell of smoke!!! There will be some kindling available to light your fire but we dont supply logs to burn. There will be an "emergency supply" bag of logs if you decide last minute, but please replace this bag if opened. There are cushions for the sun loungers and recliners stored in the plastic box next to the outdoor area. Feel free to move the chairs or loungers around the garden to get the best sun spots! There are a couple of navy fleeces to use outside or at the fireside, but probably best to leave them outside if they smell of smoke. Private parking and side entrance. You might see us in the garden but we won't bother you! We are happy to help with anything with your stay. You can knock on the door or text /phone. Feel free to use the washing line, there are pegs left on it for your use. We dont have neighbours other than the animals! You'll have uninterrupted views towards the coast. We are in an elevated position and the sunsets and views can be incredible. We are however next to a road. We dont notice it but if you dont want any traffic noise then this place wouldn't suit you! Obviously, this is Cornwall and its a B road but we would hate for anyone to be disappointed thinking there would be no traffic at all! We will happily collect from the local train station (approx 1. 5 mile away) We are positioned centrally. approx travel times by car are... Redruth- 5 mins Falmouth - 20 mins Hayle - 20 mins St Ives- 30 min Penzance - 30 mins Truro - 20 mins Helston - 15 mins We operate the space on a "Room Only" basis. There will be an adequate supply of toilet paper to get you settled, but we ask you to supply your own for the rest of your stay. Everyday sundries are not included as a general rule. There will be some kindling available to set the firepit going but we don't supply logs, so its best to bring your own. We will have a bag spare available if needed but we ask if you open the bag to please replace it for the next guests. There are bin bags available and if full, we ask for you to pop the full bags in the wheelie bin by your entrance gate. The property has a septic tank, so please DO NOT flush anything other than loo roll. it will block the system and ruin everyone's day!! The Garden Room is surrounded by land not belonging to the owners. There is livestock (pets) on the land. Currently there are horses and ponies, alpacas, goats, chickens and ducks! Plus our own 2 dogs who will be very desperate to come and meet you (if you like dogs!) There is a gate which seperates them so if you aren't a pooch lover, they cant get to you! They aren't barky dogs!
