Country Cottage - walking distance of Bridgnorth

The Coach House at Cross Lane House is just over 1 mile from the bustling market town of Bridgnorth. This cosy detached property has 1 bedroom, bathroom (bath with shower over) and open plan lounge/diner/ fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine. The property is perfect for couples. There is a private balcony with table and chairs for al fresco dining, and for watching the sunset over the beautiful Shropshire countryside. The Coach House is very well equipped for a comfortable stay. It has free WiFi, a Smart TV in the lounge (so don't forget your Netflix password!!), a tv with Freeview in the bedroom and there are games and books for guests to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for your stay including a Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, microwave etc. There are tea towels, washing up liquid, cooking oil, condiments and cookery books. We also supply an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. There are umbrellas for our guests to use (in the unlikely event of rain!!) and in the bathroom you'll find fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and other useful bits and bobs. The large, beamed bedroom is light and airy and has a very comfy bed and plenty of storage space with lovely views towards Bridgnorth. From the bedroom, doors open onto the balcony with south and westerly views towards the Shropshire Hills. Here there is a table and chairs, and sun loungers. On the ground floor is a charcoal BBQ & small seating area (the main outside space is the balcony) Don't forget your walking boots as there are lots of lovely walks on the doorstep - no need to get in the car! We have maps and guide books and are always happy to pass on our local knowledge. The Coach House is for the sole use of our guests. There is a designated parking area next to the property (off road) that is accessed through electric gates which are locked at night. Guests are provided with a gate fob for use during their stay We live on site and are available for guests if required We are only 8 miles from the world famous Ironbridge and its many museums. The Severn Valley Railway is less than a 5 minute drive away and we are within easy travelling distance of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The pretty market towns of Much Wenlock and Ludlow are within easy reach as is the county town of Shrewsbury. Bridgnorth with its many pubs/bars and shops is a 20-25 minute walk. The Coach House offers secure off-road parking with access through electric gates. There is a camp bed available on request for an additional guest - there is an extra charge of £10 per night. 2 night stay may be possible. Please contact me to request this.
