Evergreen Lodge with Hot Tub at Kingfisher Lakes
Evergreen Lodge is the latest addition to our small family-run glamping and cabin site, Kingfisher Lakes, East Yorkshire. This spacious log cabin can sleep 4-6 so is ideal for family stays or groups of friends looking for a relaxing time enjoying this unique space with views straight down the lake to the countryside beyond. Spend time in peace and quiet with nature all around you, enjoy drinking a coffee out on your balcony, soak in the fabulous log-fired hot tub stargazing at night ...bliss! Walking into the cabin from the lakeside balcony there is a beautifully furnished open plan kitchen dining area (fully fitted with gas oven/hob and all crockery/cookware provided), with a large dining table and chairs making the most of the uninterrupted view of the lake. Further in there is a comfy corner sofabed with a curtained off area making this an extra bedroom. To the right is the bathroom with a huge shower, wc, basin and a bluetooth mirror so you can enjoy some tunes while taking a shower! The bedrooms are at the back of the cabin; one cosy king bedroom and a bunk bed snug room with fairylights. The beds are all super comfy and the bunk beds are very sturdy so ideal for adults too! A beautifully furnished open plan kitchen/living/dining area in which to spend time together. Plus a fabulous 4-person log-fired hot tub on the balcony with lake and field views. You can see more reviews on our profile as we also have two smaller log cabins (just for 2 adults) ‘Sunset Lodge’ and ‘Willow Lodge’ that have been hugely popular over the last few years. Parking is right outside your cabin, with space for two cars. Shared car park with two other cabins and the glamping site. Having a car here is preferable as it is a short drive away to any amenities in the nearby village, although if you just want to relax on site you won’t necessarily need a car and can get taxis from Beverley our nearest station. A family member will normally be on hand to greet you, show you around the site and explain how to use the log-fired hot tub. We do not live on site but live close by and can be contacted (within reasonable hours wherever possible) with an on-call number if you require any assistance during your stay. Kingfisher Lakes is set off a country lane approximately 1.5 miles outside Brandesburton village and 2 miles from Leven village. There is a bridle path through fields to Brandesburton where you will find convenience stores as well as a play park, deli, two pubs, fish & chip shop and Dacre Lakeside Park with Bert’s pizzeria, a new crazy golf course, and ‘Beauty Within’ salon. There’s a very popular parkland golf course in Brandesburton and a spa with pool overlooking the course providing pampering treatments. In nearby Leven village there is a fantastic butchers, as well as a couple of busy takeaways. Beverley is only 15 minutes drive away, a very pretty market town with numerous places to eat, drink and shop. The coast is only a 20 minute drive where you can find stunning beaches, bays and cliff top walks. Having a car is preferable for your stay. There is on street parking in the villages and some council run car parks in Beverley and other surrounding visitor spots. We have a peaceful site policy in place, we are not a party venue so do not permit any speakers/amplified music at any time due to the nature of this being a small lakeside site where noise travels very easily across the water. From 10:30pm to 8:30am we expect all guests to keep noise to an absolute minimum, this means quiet/whispered chat outdoors is fine but nothing at any level above this.
