We have a studio over the garage, but quite separate and private from the house and we will respect your privacy. We love the view over the treetops to Kuringai National Park in the distance with Pittwater in between. There is a great choice of surfing beaches close by, also ferry trips on Pittwater and the Hawkesbury river available from Palm Beach, holiday home of many celebrities and location for Home and Away. Walk up to Barrenjoey lighthouse and view the Hawkesbury estuary. Broken Bay and the coast to the north. Take a trip to Avalon with its many and varied restaurants and shops. We love the relaxed, beachy vibe on the Peninsula. There is a bus to Avalon from the road below which runs hourly between 9 and 5 every day. Also from Avalon the L90 goes into the city. It is a pleasant 30 minute, walk to Avalon. There are frequent B line double decker buses from Mona Vale to the City which connect with the 199 bus from Palm Beach to Manly The Driveway and Parking. The shared driveway is quite steep, so no problem if you have a 4 wheel drive. My Toyota Corolla goes up fine, but it can be daunting if you are not used to a steep driveway and when it's been raining a lot it can be slippery, especially for heavily laden cars. If you are not sure about driving up, it is possible to park in Yarrabee Place opposite and walk up the drive. If we are here, we can ferry luggage up and down in our 4 wheel drive. There is space to turn at the top, but if you have more than one car it is best to park extra cars in Yarrabee Place where there are no restrictions. There are double white lines on Lower Plateau Road outside our house.
